Meditation: I wonder what it would be like if all God's children paused from our busy schedules and took a long, hard, honest look at our lives. I'm sure we would be shown some things that we're proud of. But at the same time, there would also be some things that we're not so proud of. But, praise God! We can rejoice knowing that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. The shedding of His blood granted the remission of our sins. Hallelujah to the Lamb of God!

Prayer: Dear sweet Jesus, You are truly the Lamb of God. What a tremendous sacrifice! Thank You. Lord, we realize You didn't have to do it, but we are oh, so glad You did. Your blood will never lose its power. May we forever be grateful for this fact. In Jesus' name we pray. AMEN.
