"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:" ~ Ephesians 2:8

Meditation:  Oh, what a blessing the gift of grace is!  We should keep in mind that the key word here is gift.  This is a gift we receive from God when we accept Him as our personal Lord and Savior.  Never should we think that God's grace and the kindness He bestows upon us are things that we have received in and of ourselves.  We could never do it!  That's what makes it so beautiful.  Who wouldn't serve a God like ours?

Pray With Me:  Loving Savior, we thank You for the gift of grace.  Lord, if it wasn't for Your grace, where would we be?  Help us to remember that Your grace is, indeed, a gift.  Help us to appreciate this precious gift by always acknowledging You in all that we do.  As we go from day to day, may people all around us see the grace of God upon our lives.  In Jesus' name we pray.  AMEN.
